Summit Ministries is led by David Noebel who has been involved in worldview training for over 40 years in the USA. Summit is based in Manitou Springs, Colorado. It was founded in 1962.

Worldview Training
Summit runs a series of two-week courses for students going from high school to university and for those at university. Courses for adults are also held.

The courses teach about the Biblical Christian Worldview - but they also cover a range of other worldviews so that students are equipped to 'give an answer for their faith' and to recognise other worldviews and ideas, when they get to university.

Summit also has curriculum materials for adults, high school, homeschooling, Sunday School etc.

Summit courses in Australia
Summit has run courses for the past four years in Australia, in conjunction with local organisations - including Salt Shakers. In January 2008 a one-week Summit school was held in Melbourne. The next such school will probably be in January 2008.
A 'mini-Summit' will be held in Perth in January 2009.

SUMMIT - TEN Areas and SIX Worldviews
Summit lists ten areas that every worldview must cover. They are theology, philosophy, ethics, biology, psychology, sociology, law, politics, economics and history.

As well as analysing the position of Biblical Christianity in each of these areas, Summit looks at the worldviews of Secular Humanism, Marxism/Leninism, Cosmic Humanism (New Age), Postmodernism and Islam.
