'30 days' Prayer for Muslims during
Ramadan
30-Days International
produces the well-known "30-Days of Prayer for the Muslim
World" Christian prayer guide coinciding with Ramadan each
year.
The group produces the booklet each year to help Christians pray for Muslims
and the Muslim world during Ramadan.
Ramadan is held at a different time each year... Ramadan is the ninth month
of the Muslim calendar. It is during this month that Muslims observe the Fast of
Ramadan. Dates for Ramadan 2008 (or 1429) are 01 - 30 September.
The Night of Power (26 September 2008) is a particular focus for Muslims, as
they believe that Allah handed the Qur'an to Mohammed on this night.
The origin of this international prayer network came about as a group of
Christian leaders were praying during a meeting in the Middle East in April
1992. God put a burden on the hearts of these men and women to call as many
Christians as possible to pray for the Muslim world.
The website has the booklet as well as a range of information about
Islam.
The Booklet - '30
Days'
The 2008 booklet is 52 pages - an illustrated prayer guide booklet that
