Senate same-sex 'marriage' Bill defeated

More good news!
The federal Senate has defeated a Bill aimed at legalising same-sex 'marriage'. The Bill was defeated by 41 votes to 26.

As in the House of Reps, the Coalition voted against the Bill, which was put up by several Labor Senators. The Greens voted for it, and Labor had a conscience vote. Several Senators were absent for the vote.

Of course, we may have won the 'battle' but the 'war' continues.
