March for the Babies - 4 years of the abortion lawIn October 2012, it will be four years since the Victorian parliament passed one of the world's most horrific abortion laws - that allows abortion up to birth when approved by two doctors (they can both be abortionists) after considering medical circumstances and the "current and future physical, psychological and social circumstances" of the woman (See Section 5). Mark your diary now - plan to march in Melbourne...
March for the BabiesSaturday 13 October 2012 1 pm - Meet at Treasury Gardens to walk to state Parliament. This March marks the anniversary of the passing of Victoria's Abortion Law Reform Act in 2008 and calls for the repeal of the law. Wear pink and blue for the babies. Placards provided. The flier says "We march for the 20,000 lives destroyed by abortion in Victoria each year - the babies of nearly one in every three pregnancies." Visit marchforthebabies.org.au for more details. See you there!
