A High Court Family Judge in the UK, Sir Paul Coleridge, has recently spoken out in support of traditional marriage.
From his work in the Family Court, he has seen the devastation on children that has resulted from divorce.
In addition, he says that cohabitation is much less stable than marriage - and he urges couples to marry.
He has set up the Marriage Foundation - which aims to promote marriage as the "gold standard" of relationships.
