Salt Shakers has an Annual Dinner...

In 2005, the Board decided to lift the profile of Salt Shakers and provide a forum for readers and supporters to come together for a dinner and hear a guest speaker.

2009

Date: 12 September
Time: 7 pm - savouries. 7.30 pm - sit down for dinner.
Speakers: Tom Gordon and Shirley Baskett.
Venue: The Quest, Mountain Highway, Wantirna, Victoria.
Cost: $50, $95 married couple.

2008

The 2008 Annual Dinner was held on 13 September 2008.
The Guest Speaker was Rev Dr David Claydon, who spoke on the topic "Worldwide Challenges for the Church".

2007

The speaker was Mr Colin Bunnett, the General Manager of Focus on the Family Australia. Colin spoke about the Truth Project.

2006

The speaker was Major Brian Watters, formerly the Chairman of the Prime Minister's National Council on Drugs. He is now working with the UN on a group that monitors international shipments of drugs and ingredients for drugs.

2005

The Speaker at the first Dinner, held on Saturday 27 August 2005, was Senator Eric Abetz, Special Minister of State, a Liberal Party Senator from Tasmania.
We first met Senator Abetz shortly after Salt Shakers started.
